Welcome to Borrow Money - Fast Calculator. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application. This app is a free loan guide and EMI calculator that provides educational financial guidance only. We do not offer, arrange, or broker any financial products or services. By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2 INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information You Enter: When using the app, you may enter your loan purpose, monthly income range, employment type, credit score category, and EMI calculator inputs such as loan amount, interest rate, and tenure. This information is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to our servers.
Information Collected Automatically: We may automatically collect your device type, operating system version, app version, usage patterns such as screens viewed and session duration, crash reports, and your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Information We Do NOT Collect: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, bank account details, exact GPS location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, or any government ID numbers.
3 HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to provide EMI calculations and personalized loan recommendations, display advertisements through Google AdMob with your consent, analyze app usage to improve features and fix bugs, update app content remotely through Firebase Remote Config, and comply with applicable laws. We do not use your information to make lending decisions, sell it to third parties, or contact you for unsolicited marketing.
4 APP TRACKING TRANSPARENCY (iOS)
We request your permission before accessing your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) in compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you allow tracking, your IDFA is used to serve personalized advertisements through Google AdMob. If you decline tracking, all app features continue to work normally and you will see non-personalized ads instead. You can change your decision anytime by going to iPhone Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Tracking, and toggling our app on or off.
5 THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use the following third-party services, each operating under its own privacy policy.
Firebase Analytics by Google is used for app usage analytics. Firebase Crashlytics by Google is used for crash reporting. Firebase Remote Config by Google is used for remote app configuration. Google AdMob is used for advertising. All Google services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy available at policies.google.com/privacy. You may opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
6 DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Your questionnaire answers and calculator inputs are stored locally on your device using iOS Shared Preferences and are deleted when you uninstall the app. We store aggregated non-identifiable configuration and analytics data on Firebase servers using Google Cloud. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between the app and Firebase services. We do not store any financial credentials or sensitive personal data. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
7 DATA RETENTION
Device-local data including your questionnaire answers and calculator inputs is retained until you uninstall the app. Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default and then automatically deleted. Crash reports are retained for 90 days.
8 YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
All users have the right to know what data we collect, opt out of personalized ads through ATT settings, delete local app data by uninstalling the app, and contact us with privacy questions.
EU and EEA users under GDPR have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port their personal data and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise GDPR rights, contact us at the email below.
California residents under CCPA have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
9 CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This app is not directed to children under the age of 13, or under 16 in the EU and EEA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe your child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
10 ADVERTISING
The app is supported by advertising through Google AdMob which helps us keep the app free. With your ATT consent, we serve personalized advertisements based on your interests. Without consent, you will see contextually targeted non-personalized ads. You can limit ad tracking anytime through iPhone Settings under Privacy and Security, then Apple Advertising, then toggle off Personalized Ads.
11 CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this policy and display an in-app notification. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
